Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Addictions and Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues, fostering a safe and supportive environment for recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address addiction and mental health disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate educational workshops and support groups to promote recovery.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and trends in addiction and mental health counseling.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid certification as an addictions counselor (e.g., CADC, LADC).
  • Experience in mental health counseling preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
