Magnolia Women’s Recovery Programs, Inc. is offering an excellent employment opportunity for qualified individuals interested in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outreach Specialist positions. There are two positions, one for Oakland, CA and the other for Hayward, CA. These positions are full-time, exempt and temporary (through June 30, 2023).
Magnolia is a not-for-profit organization committed to rehabilitate pregnant and postpartum women with small children struggling with substance use disorder and mental health challenges. Our SUD residential treatment program provides drug and alcohol treatment to pregnant and postpartum women and women with children 0-7 years old. We offer daily programs to empower and educate our women clients, facilitating healing and reconnection with their lives and families.
The SUD Outreach Specialists will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing a targeted outreach plan to ensure full utilization of the residential program and agency deliverables. For full job details, click here.
Certification/Registration Required: Candidates must possess an SUD certification recognized by the state of California, or registration with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an Intern. Must possess First Aid and CPR certificates for adults, adolescents, and children.
Education: Possession of an associate degree from an accredited college or university with at least two years’ experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing substance use assessment and outreach, and experience and skills in community outreach and networking. For full job details, click here.
