Industry Substance use disorder treatment
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the LVN ensures proper medication management and serves as the agency’s liaison with medical professionals for a Residential Treatment Program. This position is best filled by individuals who are patient, flexible detailed orientated and has the ability to adapt to changing priorities. This is a Full-Time, Monday-Friday position with occasional weekend and or evening work.
Examples of Work:
The LVN will conduct Client Drug and Alcohol Testing, breathalyzer testing and preparing the lab sheet and testing materials in compliance with testing policy and procedures. The position is responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies.
Medication Monitoring where the LVN is observing and documenting client’s administering of medications as well as deliver client vitals and monitor them accordingly. LVN will serve as the liaison between Casa and outside prescribing professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information and will transport client for medically necessary appointments. This position will assist and support program leadership team as needed to ensure excellent program service.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- If in recovery, there is a two-year minimum requirement
This position requires that the employee be able to walk up and down stairs and lift 20 lbs.
