Qualifications Degree Bachelor
This position is with the Women’s Recovery & Resiliency Services Intensive Outpatient program. The ideal candidate will have a drug and alcohol certification and/or be registered with the California Consortium of Addiction Programs & Professionals (CCAPP) OR California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators (CAADE) OR California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP). If candidate is not certified or registered with one of the above listed organizations, they must be willing to apply for and maintain registration toward certification at their own expense. The ideal candidate will have any combination of education and experience; equal to 4 years for the Assistant Social Worker and 6 years for the Social Worker position. In addition, they will have experience providing alcohol and other drug treatment services in the public sector. Experience should include conducting assessments, providing individual/group counseling, coordinating client care, provided case management, and facilitating substance abuse treatment sessions. Experience with pregnant and parenting women with substance use issues and/or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
