Sacramento Recovery House, Inc., is dedicated to providing gender responsive residential recovery home services to men and women seeking recovery from the disease of addiction. In a supportive, caring, strength-based, and home-like environment, Gateway House and Sacramento Recovery House provide men and women with the opportunity to live a sober productive life; supported by a Board of Directors and staff members who are experienced in recovery, transitional living and aftercare programs and provide trauma informed, culturally competent educational and counseling services for men and women and the significant people in their lives.

Our philosophy is that alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable diseases and individuals can build recovery plans that will sustain them in the future, in a warm, nurturing social model setting that can be provided by staff many of whom are themselves recovering and who by training and personal experience are guides to the first steps in the long road to recovery.
